Laser Peel - Skin Resurfacing
Non-Ablative Wrinkle and Acne Scar Reduction - Skin Resurfacing with HOYA ConBio® RevLite® Laser.
This Laser Peel is non-ablative skin resurfacing - including wrinkle and acne scar reduction - with no actual peeling or patient downtime and a low risk of complications for patients with lighter skin types. As a gentler alternative to ablative laser treatments, this therapy offers many benefits over traditional resurfacing methods. The 1064 nm infrared wavelength of the RevLite® Laser Peel is becoming the method of choice for patients and doctors, that want a fast non-invasive solution to correct deep skin imperfections from sun damage and aging. Results include improved skin tone, smoother texture and reduced wrinkles.
Benefits of Skin Resurfacing- Laser Peels
Non-ablative laser peel treatments have become popular because they produce similar skin resurfacing results as some aggressive laser peels, but with little to no healing time. The RevLite® uses a 1064 nm wavelength, an infrared wavelength clinically shown to safely penetrate the dermis and stimulate the tissue, causing remodeling and building of collagen. As a result, our physicians are able to treat the papillary dermis without removing (or ablating) layers of the dermis.
Non-ablative skin resurfacing therapies can:
- Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
- Reduce/improve acne scars
- Remove brown spots/pigmentation
- Reduce uneven skin tone
- Improve crow's feet
- Smooth smoker's lines around the mouth
These laser peel treatments are recommended for only patients with a lighter skin tone , with skin that has not been altered in color, by the sun or any tanning method for a minimum of 4 weeks. One treatment, up to a series of 3 to 6 treatments can be recommended, spaced one month apart.
Laser peels- skin resurfacing, is recommended for anyone looking to reverse years of damage at a deeper level. These non-invasive, but very effective, treatments are safe on the hands and chest as well as your face.
