We utilize specially designed aesthetic lasers to remove tattoos by breaking up the pigment colors of the tattoo with a high-intensity light beam. Some tattoo colors are more easily treated than others. For example, black tattoo pigments absorb all laser wave lengths making them much easier to treat. Other colors are much more difficult.

Typically it can take 4-12 treatments to effectively fade or acheive tattoo removal, depending on the size, ink colors and age of the tattoo. With each treatment the laser penetrates more to wipe away the ink.

Dark Ink Tattoo Removal with the RevLite® Laser

With a long wavelength, short pulse duration, and high peak power output, the RevLite® aesthetic medical lasers are able to effectively destroy dark chromophores (i.e., tattoo ink) with a very low risk of permanent tissue damage.
